The Curator supervised and directed the creation of all grants submitted for this project and all AF publicity for the subsequent events. In spring, she wrote a profile of the artist for the Artist Trust "Art Source" magazine and a blurb for the Henry Gallery newsletter. She asked David B.'s publisher's rep in New York for copies of his bestseller "Epileptic" in English, to be used in media packets.

In constant touch with Associate Curator Kim Thompson at Fantagraphics throughout the spring and summer, in July she designed a 5.5" x 8.5" glossy postcard listing all events; 5,000 were printed by PL3X in Florida. Fantagraphics Gallery curator Larry Reid produced separate 5" x 7" cards for the opening as well as David B.'s poster.

The Curator created a basic media release package with full event listings, artist bios, etc. Twenty press packets, each of which also contained both cards and a copy of "Epileptic", were delivered two weeks in advance. She also designed a promotional page for the AF de Seattle web site and an attached Online Press Room.
